Shop-in-shop and concessions
Your brand’s standard inside someone else’s store.
Concessions, shop-in-shops and department store fixtures, built to the brand standard and the landlord’s rules.
Pop-up kiosk · Cream lacquer, oak, 10' x 10' · Render
Two sets of rules: your brand standard and the host store’s.
NYC FAB builds shop-in-shops and concessions: perimeter walls, fixtures, cash wraps, lighting and signage, built to the brand’s standard and installed to the host store’s schedule and requirements.
What goes into it
- Site survey and field measure
We measure the venue or store ourselves, so the piece fits the room it is going into.
- Shop drawings and submittals
Dimensioned shop drawings in feet and inches, with materials, finishes and hardware called out, issued for your sign-off.
- Architectural millwork
Wall panelling, casework, counters and built-ins to architectural woodwork standards.
- Bronze and brass fabrication
Vitrine frames, trims, shelves and lettering in solid bronze and brass.
- Stone tops and surfaces
Marble, travertine, granite and quartz tops, plinths and cladding, fabricated and set.
- LED integration
Concealed LED lines, halos and pin spots built into shelves, cases, signs and scenery.
- Dimensional lettering
Cut and fabricated letters in bronze, steel, acrylic and wood, mounted on standoffs or flush.
- Multi-location rollouts
One approved prototype, then the same piece built and installed for every store.
- Installation
Our crews install in venues, stores, studios and showrooms, including after hours.

Do you work to department store requirements?
Yes. We build to the host store’s design criteria and install around its hours and access rules.
Can the same shop-in-shop go into several stores?
Yes. One approved prototype governs every location, adapted to each footprint.
