Prototype to rollout
Approve one. Every store after it matches.
A full-size prototype for sign-off, then the same fixture built and installed for every location.
Prototype · Blackened steel, travertine, 48" long · Render
Store forty has to match the flagship.
NYC FAB runs fixture programs from prototype to rollout: design development, a full-size prototype for your sign-off, then production for every store against the approved prototype, with delivery and install scheduled store by store.
What goes into it
- 3D modelling
Every piece is modelled in 3D at full scale in Rhino, SolidWorks or Fusion 360 before anything is cut.
- Renders and walkthroughs
Photoreal renders and walkthroughs, so your client approves the piece before it is built.
- Finish samples
Physical samples of every finish for your sign-off before production.
- CAM programming and nesting
Toolpaths and nested cut files written from the approved model, so parts come off the machines exactly as drawn.
- Architectural millwork
Wall panelling, casework, counters and built-ins to architectural woodwork standards.
- Bronze and brass fabrication
Vitrine frames, trims, shelves and lettering in solid bronze and brass.
- Test fit and QC
Every piece is assembled and checked in the shop before it ships.
- Multi-location rollouts
One approved prototype, then the same piece built and installed for every store.
- Installation
Our crews install in venues, stores, studios and showrooms, including after hours.

Questions buyers ask
Why build a prototype first?
Because you see and touch the real piece, in its real finishes, before the run is made. Changes happen once, on one piece.
How do you keep every unit consistent?
Every unit is built against the signed prototype and the same finish samples, and checked before it ships.
Send the drawings and the date.
