Prototyping · New York

One prototype first, then the run

We build one prototype to prove a design, then make the run from it. That works for fixtures, displays, props and parts.

Our drawing: A prototype fixture in exploded view, with its parts list.

What it covers

  • First prototypes
  • Finish and color samples
  • Mock-ups for sign-off
  • Small and mid-size production runs
  • Kits for rollouts and tours
  • Spare and replacement parts

Materials

  • Whatever the final piece is made of
  • Wood, metal, acrylic and composites
  • Printed and cast parts
  • Packing for shipping and touring

How the job runs

  1. 01

    Drawings in

Send the design and tell us how many you need now and how many later.

  2. 02

    Costed plan

We price the prototype and the run separately, so you can approve one before committing to the rest.

  3. 03

    Prototype sign-off

You test and sign off the prototype. That sign-off becomes the standard every unit is checked against.

  4. 04

    Build

The run is made to the approved prototype and checked against it.

  5. 05

    Ship or install

We pack and label each unit for its address, or install them ourselves.
