Custom millwork · New York

Millwork finished in the shop and fitted on site

We build architectural and retail millwork from your drawings: veneered walls, casework, counters and built-ins. It is finished in the shop and fitted on site.

Our drawing: Casework in section beside a book-matched veneer wall.

What it covers

  • Casework and cabinetry
  • Veneered wall paneling
  • Reception desks and counters
  • Built-in shelving and display walls
  • Doors and frames
  • Furniture made to drawing

Materials and finishes

  • Wood veneers in the species you choose
  • Solid hardwood
  • Lacquer and painted finishes
  • Plastic laminate and solid surface
  • The hardware your spec calls for
  • Stone and metal inlays

How the job runs

  1. 01

    Drawings in

Send the architectural drawings, the finish schedule and any specified hardware.

  2. 02

    Costed plan

We price the package and point out the details that drive cost, like veneer matching and curved work. If your spec names a quality grade, such as AWI Custom or Premium, tell us at the start so the price reflects it.

  3. 03

    Shop drawings and samples

You review shop drawings and approve veneer, stain and lacquer samples.

  4. 04

    Build

Millwork is built and finished in the shop, so the site sees fitting, not sanding.

  5. 05

    Install

We install and scribe to the walls on site, then adjust the hardware before handover.
